SOMEs = Self-Organized Mediation Environments

21 January 2010

We had sound, but no webcams. However, there was a drill goin on in the street, so I couldn't always hear the children, but in between voice and text we had a wonderful session. They even sang to me!  :-)

These children are definitely eager for these moments and will stay under any circumstance. Fantastic!!!

[21-01-2010 10:05:28] maim.sole: ae mere watan ke logo

I googled it and, according to Wikipedia, it's an Indian patriotic song: ""Aye Mere Watan Ke Logo" (ए मेरे वतन के लोगों) ("O! the people of my country!") is an Indian patriotic song written in Hindi by Pradeep and composed by C. Ramchandra, commemorating Indian soldiers who died during the Sino-Indian War. It was famously performed live by Lata Mangeshkar in the presence of Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru at the Ramlila grounds in New Delhi on Republic Day (26 January) 1963, several months after the end of the war. [1] A copy of the soundtrack spool was also gifted to Nehru on the occasion. According to popular legend, Nehru was moved to tears by the song."
