
CHAT: Voice and text
Two years later, my students were ready to prepare the chat / interview they'd have with a teacher-friend, carry it out and write a text about what they'd heard. Each class prepared their own set of questions, interviewed a different teacher and wrote the corresponding text.
We used Yahoo Messenger for the chats, Audacity to record them, the World Atlas to locate where the teacher lived (when s/he said so), and a Google map to write the texts. Here are the end products.

Where can we store and centralize all these activities that we create? That's where text tools come into play, the last part of my presentation.
