Here's a very simple tutorial on how to register to Voki for free and record a voki.

Registering

click Voki and explore the site
to create an account, click Log in (top right) and then Sign Up Here (bottom)
fill in all the required fields and click the orange Sign Up button
wait for a confirmation email
activate your account by clicking the "confirmation" link in the email

ViP: If you don't see the Voki email in your Inbox, check your Spam folder and activate Not Spam

Creating a Voki

log in (fill in your email address and click the "Login") (top right)
create your avatar: select a character, clothing and accessories
give your avatar a voice: record your voice (or choose a voice to read your text)
select a background
click the Publish button when you finish

Now you can Share your recording.
